We recommended prior to installing, please disconnect the negative terminal battery.

I had purchased this for my base model 2014 Sierra 1500 which came with a small screen. I had googled and came across a few companies that were selling these kits, but prices were pretty high compared to carplaynav. I wanted the full option with android auto and factory built-in nav, and was recommended this upgrade. Additionally, they also hooked me up with the mic upgrade since mine did not come equipped. Took 1-2 weeks before it was shipped and installation was straightforward.
UPDATE**
An important thing to mention for anyone with a fleet vehicle, you might require a separate conversion harness or else it will not work. Carplaynav makes these harnesses and you will have to request one.
